First-cycle studies - Intellectual Property and New Media Law

The curriculum in the field of Intellectual Property and New Media Law focuses on teaching practical skills in the field of protection, commercialization and enforcement of intellectual property while significantly supplementing the didactic offer with subjects in the field of economics and management, marketing, advertising, along with IT and media law. On the one hand, it allows acquiring knowledge and skills at the basic (and at the same time practical) level in this area; on the other hand, it creates the basis for continuing education within the second-cycle studies, in particular in the field of management, but also administration and many others. The second-cycle studies, "Intellectual Property and New Technologies" (in English), launched at the Faculty of Law and Administration in 2018, provide a distinct possibility of continuing education. On the one hand, they are a continuation of the bachelor's program, but at the same time, they strongly expand the subject matter with international content.

Up-to-date information on the Intellectual Property Law and New Media studies can be found on the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University website.
