The purpose of the postgraduate courses in intellectual property law is to allow students to update and supplement the knowledge acquired in higher education. They familiarize participants with the fundamental issues in the field of intellectual property law, associated in particular with Polish law, including the 1994 Act on Copyright and Related Rights, the 2000 Act on Industrial Property Law, the 1994 Act on Combating Unfair Competition, the 1996 Act on the Protection of Databases, as well as issues resulting from the most critical court decisions in the field of civil liability for infringement of intellectual property rights.
The curriculum is dedicated to both law graduates and graduates of other studies, for whom knowledge in the field of broadly understood intellectual property law is necessary to achieve professional and personal goals.
The courses are currently offered in Polish only.
