On 11-13 September 2023 our Chair will co-host the 18th Annual Conference of EPIP. The leading theme is IP, Innovation and Technology - Challenging the Present, Inspiring the Future.

The conference will gather over 200 participants from over 30 countries - representing academia, policymaking and law practice. The schedule includes 40 sessions, 3 keynotes (prof. Maciej Szpunar, prof. Dietmar Harhoff and prof. Annette Kur) and 3 plenaries, including the judges roundtable and the chief economists' roundtable. A PhD workshop takes place right before the event.

One of the themed session is "Limits of flexibility in the implementation of the DSM Directive" organized as part of the projekt „Naukowy model reformy prawa autorskiego na jednolitym rynku cyfrowym według dyrektyw UE” led by prof. dr hab. Ryszard Markiewicz (2019/35/B/HS5/03671, konkurs Opus 18).
