We recommend the report "Mapping report on national and regional financial schemes, programs and incentives supporting IP protection in the V4", prepared within the framework of the international project "Financial incentives as a tool for improving the V4 innovation ecosystem and enhancing IP protection".

Coordinated by CTTRU UJ, the project is implemented in an international consortium involving Jagiellonian University, Poland; Charles University, Faculty of Law (Univerzita Karlova, Právnická fakulta), Czech Republic, University of Debrecen (Debreceni Egyetem), Hungary; Slovak Organization for Research and Development Activities (Slovenská organizácia pre výskumné a vývojové aktivity (SOVVA), Slovakia. The project was managed by a member of our Chair, dr. hab Justyna Ożegalska-Trybalska.

The report contains a general description of national innovation systems and a detailed description of systems, programs and initiatives aimed at funding R&D activities and protecting intellectual property. It also presents common conclusions and recommendations for improving the innovation ecosystem in the V4 and increasing technology transfer and the number of applications for formal intellectual property protection in the region.

The report can be useful for those involved in innovation and R&D activities, universities, technology transfer centers, and entrepreneurs engaged in innovation creation and intellectual property protection.

The report is available at the project website.

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
