Pan European Seal 2020 PES Universities Version

The movie includes mostly accounts of students who participated in the Pan-European Seal Programme in EUIPO. The students describe what they liked the most during their apprenticeship. The students were filmed on location, in the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante, Spain.

Nicole Grzeda, Poland: The greatest adventure of my life so far. I think it gives a lot of possibilities to young graduates and especially being young and not having much experience, so it gives us a nice kick into the future.

Eduardo Gargiulo, Italy: EUIPO gives the chance to live in a very nice environment. People are very warm. You have the chance to connect with people. It is incredible to see how it looks like people here are happy.

Elina Pendicheva, Bulgaria: The whole striving always to be better, to improve, to create new things. Now I'm so grateful because I've learned so many new things and every day is such a challenge, and I really feel lucky to be here.

Altair Breckwoldt Jurado, Germany: The most important for me has been being able to work with people that are very dedicated to the work they do, that take very seriously what they do.

Tilen Serbec Turk, Slovenia: All of the new friendships and all of the new friends that I got here.

The movie then shifts to accounts of professionals who had the opportunity to work with the students or observe them at work.
Nuria Gonzalez Ortin, IP Campus Jury Member: Young people bring fresh air and they bring new technologies, new points of views, emerging markets and that's something we have to thank them for. It is not only them who also are very thankful to have the opportunity to be part of the EU institutions and to learn from this environment, but us that bring this fresh energy into our daily work. I think it's fantastic.
Giles Corbally from Bombhard IP law firm: So for me, when I came herem, is an opportunity just to see the talent on display and those that are already practicing and learning within the EUIPO environment. For us that's attractive because it ensures that people have a fundamental knowledge of both the office as well as the law.

Finally, we move back to the students.

Jan Dohnal, Czech Republic: I really enjoyed here the multicultural working environment and of course life in sunny Alicante. It's stunning.

Thomas Verborgh, Belgium: I would say I would recommend to for sure apply, write a great motivation letter, send a good CV. I hope you get selected, and then you will learn a lot of things about IP and have a great experience here in the office in Alicante.
